What if every neighborhood, subdivision, or community had a farm to feed its residents? Or, what if there were more places like Loam Agronomics, massive areas of land with the capability to supply a lot of local residents with farm fresh, nutrient-dense produce? I'm talking about if First Ward, Near Northside, Acres homes, or any neighborhood had its own sustainably and locally produced vegetables or even meats. That would be a site to see. If we can get enough people to understand the importance of knowing where their produce comes from, this dream could become a reality. Just think if we could help impoverished forgotten communities who could be helped if we were to reintroduce urban agriculture to these areas.
It is just a thought, my thought.
