Hello! I’m Tim Hammond, the guy behind Big City Gardener. I’ve been gardening for over 30 years, which basically means I’ve failed every way you can fail with plants and still come back for more. I grow food in tight spaces, teach what I learn, and try to make gardening feel less like a secret club and more like something anyone can jump into. My yard isn’t perfect, my beds aren’t symmetrical, and plants still die on me. That’s real life. I replant and keep moving.
